However, if you do not require continuing education credits or are unable to attend in person, you can conveniently follow the lectures online from home.

Early diagnosis of cardiac disease in small animals is essential for determining the severity of the condition and advising the most appropriate and prompt treatment. Auscultation and clinical examination are the first steps in identifying cardiac pathology in cats and dogs.

In this seminar, we will focus on using cardiac auscultation to recognise cardiac diseases in cats and dogs early on, with a particular focus on feline hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and congenital malformations in puppy dogs. We will emphasise why an early diagnosis is important for improving the prognosis of these conditions. Finally, we will discuss the standard and new therapeutic options available for cats with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and puppies with congenital cardiac diseases.

We look forward to an interesting exchange and to welcoming you in person. Following the seminar, we cordially invite you to join us for refreshments.

On-site participation may qualify for continuing education credits with the GST. Please provide your GST membership number when registering.
