Description
How can assessments be meaningfully designed and adapted in the age of generative AI? What changes are needed, and what new opportunities does AI offer for assessment practices?
In this interactive workshop, you will explore these questions by working on an assessment from your own teaching practice. Together with colleagues from different disciplines, you will reflect on the role of generative AI in assessment and develop practical approaches for your own teaching.
The workshop is based on a new guideline on the use of AI in assessment, which is currently being piloted. You will have the opportunity to apply the guideline to your own assessment, evaluate its practical relevance, and actively contribute to its further development through your feedback.
Bring Your Own Assessment!
The focus of this workshop is on your own teaching practice. Please bring an existing assessment task that you would like to reflect on or further develop in light of generative AI.
What will you gain from the workshop?

Get to know the new guideline and explore how to apply it in practice.
-
Reflect on your own assessment in relation to the opportunities and challenges of generative AI.
-
Develop concrete ideas for adapting or redesigning your assessment.
-
