This conference will be held in German.
Work shapes our lives: it can give us meaning, enable us to develop and provide a sense of belonging – or it can be a burden. In a world of work characterised by a shortage of skilled workers, rapid change and increasing pressure, it is becoming ever more urgent to address the question of how working conditions and leadership can be designed in such a way as to strengthen health, motivation and performance in the long term. This is precisely the focus of the conference ‘Healthy leadership, healthy working: positive psychological insights from research and practice’ on 5 June 2026 at the University of Zurich: it focuses on well-being in the work context – as a relevant factor for health, cooperation and productivity.
The focus is on questions such as: What does health-promoting leadership mean in concrete terms? How can working conditions be designed in such a way that resources are built up and stress is reduced? What role do attitude and team dynamics play?
A core concern is the exchange between research and practice. Contributions from research translate current findings into actionable insights; contributions from practice bring proven perspectives and tools from everyday working life. This creates a dialogue that is well-founded and enables application.
In addition to the presentations, the conference aims to promote networking and provide space for discussion so that approaches can be further developed and transferred to different contexts.
