We cordially invite you to the presentation of the Yearbook Quality of the Media 2026 and the subsequent panel discussion on: "The vulnerable society: How resilient is the swiss population against disinformation?".

Disinformation and so-called "Fake News" present a growing challenge for democratic societies. How strongly is the swiss public aware of disinformation? How resilient is it against conspiracy theories and other forms of disinformation and what role does media usage play in this?
The Yearbook Quality of the Media 2026 thouroughly analyses these questions and additionally offers current results on the swiss public's expectations of media Service Public as well as on the development of the quality, usage and financing of swiss media organisations.
On the panel will be discussing:
· Prof. Dr. Mark Eisenegger (Co-Director fög)
· Dr. theol. h.c. Guido Fluri (Founder of the Internet-Initiative)
· Benno Zogg (Head of the section strategy and anticipation at the federal office for security policy SEPOS)
· Dr. Barbara Josef (Board member Swico, Trade Association for the ICT and online sector)
