Description

Since the pandemic at the latest, we know that students’ academic success is closely linked to their wellbeing. Higher education institutions are increasingly called upon to foster inclusive and equitable learning environments that support students’ mental health, resilience, and sense of social safety. At the same time, student-led initiatives that cultivate mutual support and community play a crucial role in promoting wellbeing and academic success.

The conference will explore how student wellbeing can be effectively supported in practice as a shared responsibility between higher education institutions and students. The focus lies on how universities can develop impactful support services while simultaneously strengthening student initiatives and integrating them meaningfully into existing support structures. Which forms of collaboration have proven successful? And which future-oriented developments are emerging in this field ?

We warmly invite you to save the date now and to join us next year at the University of Zurich: share your experiences, gain inspiration from different approaches, and connect with experts in a field that is becoming increasingly important for the future of higher education.
