On Future Day at Irchel, the children of UZH employees have the opportunity to visit their parents’ workplace and participate in free activities such as workshops, tours, and demonstrations.
In the morning, the Irchel Facilities Management Department and the Materials and Logistics Department offer workshops on plumbing and metalwork, cleaning, multimedia, wayfinding systems, logistics, and glassblowing.
In the afternoon, various institutes, the Science Lab, and Life Science Zurich have organized workshops for the children in the fields of biology, biochemistry, chemistry, geography, mathematics, and physics. The children can sign up for a 2-hour workshop of their choice.
