Small work at the UZH

Campus Jobs

We are currently setting up an online platform on which organizational units of UZH can post small support jobs and students can apply for them. Depending on the job type, we also organize training for students to ensure a high quality standard.

Campus Jobs

Main questions

What are campus jobs?

At the University of Zurich there is always temporary work that cannot be covered by the existing staff. Especially at events support is needed, for example at the reception, for admission control, directing or lecture hall support, set-up and dismantling work or the support for people with disabilities. But there are also job opportunities outside of events, for example as an exam supervisor or for administrative work.

What are campus jobs?

How does it work?

On our online platform, we offer Campus Jobs, a central service where organizational units of UZH can independently post small, one-time, and hourly support jobs. Students create a profile on the Event Portal and can apply for these jobs (training is required for certain job types). After the work assignment, students are paid and can apply for a next Campus Job depending on their interest and availability.

How does it work?

Why does it exist?

The goal is to ensure that organizational units of UZH receive reliable, qualified and experienced support without incurring a large administrative and organizational burden. Students can gain valuable work experience and earn something alongside their studies. Campus Jobs also offer students the opportunity to meet new fellow students and become more involved in the University of Zurich.
